A fruity twist to the popular mango lassi with the addition of almonds!
Made with fresh summer mangoes and yogurt, mango lassi is a popular drink from the northern region of India. It has become a must have at every Indian restaurant outside the country. Kids love to sip on one along with their spicy Indian meal.
Strawberries have taken the place of mangoes and I have included an additional ingredients, aka almonds. Though a lassi is generally sweetened with sugar, honey is better for you, right? And, we are not serving it in a glass. Instead, we opted for a much hyped smoothie bowl.
What is a smoothie bowl? Simply pour the prepared smoothie in a bowl and top with some of the smoothie ingredients. Pretty! No wonder smoothie bowl is all the rage!

Strawberry Almond Lassi Bowl
1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup milk
2-4 tablespoons honey
additional chopped strawberries
shredded coconut (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend to combine.
Pour into a bowl and decorate with toppings.
Makes 1-2 servings
